(St. George, UT) - The Washington County Sheriff’s Office celebrated the promotion of their newest sergeant, as Deputy Betty Keil-Stevenson was officially promoted to the rank of Sergeant this month. Deputy Keil-Stevenson has been with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for almost nine years and worked in several different capacities. In the process, she has established herself as a highly capable law enforcement officer.

Deputy Keil-Stevenson has performed admirably against an extremely competitive field of deputies during the promotional testing process and distinguish herself from the field. She has worked hard to take her career to the next level of command and performance. Sheriff Kirk Smith said Deputy Keil-Stevenson will undoubtedly prove to be an effective supervisor for the department and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to welcome her to their supervisory team.
