The concert will feature Vivaldi’s Sinfonia in B Minor, Georg Matthias Monn’s Cello Concerto in G Minor, and Arcengelo Corelli’s Concerto Grosso for String Orchestra in D Major, Op. 6 No.1. The Cello Concerto will feature local cellist Jessika Soli.
TYCO is Southern Utah’s premiere youth ensemble made up of select students from the Washington County area as well as top string students from Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts. These students will provide four full-length professional-style concerts throughout the 2012-13 featuring guest professional artsists. TYCO is under the direction of Jason Bonham, Director of Orchestra at Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts and newly-appointed principal violist of the Las Vegas Philharmonic.
