(Washington, UT) - The Staheli Family Farm, in Washington, Utah, will host a very special event from now through the 11th. Alan and Sandra Foote, from Washington, Utah are producing the first annual September 11th Tribute, dedicated to those who lost their lives on that tragic day, 2001, and to those who have given, and continue to give, to protect all mankind. At the heart of this event, Alan will sing the Lee Greenwood anthem, GOD BLESS THE USA, 911 times in a 48-hour period. When asked why, Alan said, “I am but one voice endeavoring to rally the voices of many, for I know that our country will fall only if good people do nothing.” Alan will begin singing Sunday morning, the 9th, at 6:46 am after an opening prayer by local, Kathy McKean, and opening remarks by Retired Marine Lt. Col. Bill Toole. There will be host of eventful experiences that can be shared with your family and friends, including free pie, opportunity to place a flag in memory of special loved ones, a solar light field to represent those fallen at the twin towers and pictures taken with actors made up to represent Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Betsy Ross. Alan did make it perfectly clear that this event is only to honor God, Country and Patriotism.
