(St. George, UT) - Our beloved wife, sister, and aunt, Rosie Marie La Pinta Mauzy, passed peacefully away from this life into the hands of her loving Father in Heaven on August 1st 2012. Rosie was born in San Pedro California, on March 23rd 1948. Rosie was happily married to Christopher Robert Mauzy for 43 years. Early in her career she received and Associates of Science degree from Harbor College in Human Development, where she assisted handicapped students. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Carmela La Pinta. Rosie is survived by her loving husband, Christopher Robert Mauzy, one brother John Paul La Pinta, (Kaleen), one sister Mary La Pinta Jacobs (Nic), nieces Kamie, Kandra, Ashley, and Nephews, Ryan, Joseph, and numerous aunts uncles and cousins. Rosie was a kind gentle soul who was loved by all. Rosie will be missed through the lives she touched.A funeral mass service will be held Saturday, August 11 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. George Catholic Church 259 West 200 North, St. George Utah. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m at the St. George Care and Rehabilitation Center, 1032 East 100 South St. George, Utah.
