Police Sgt. Jimmy Roden said the damage was spread over many portions of the interior of the meetinghouse where congregations meet of the Cobble Creek and Sunbow Wards; and Coal Creek First Branch (Spanish) of the Canyon View Stake.
Initial estimations of the damage are running into tens of thousands of dollars. Police are asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity or persons in the area to contact the Cedar City Police Department.
