(Cedar City, UT) - The SUU Ballroom Dance Company wants to put a little swing in your spring by attendance of the Company’s concert entitled "Big Time" scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14, 2012 in SUU’s Centrum Arena. The performance begins at 7:30PM. Tickets are general seating are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for all students.

"Big Time" promises to be an evening of high-energy entertainment full of color, music and stylized movement. Members of the Ballroom Dance Company will perform a precision program of popular styles - a sultry Latin style as the Argentine Tango, Salsa, Samba and Rumba. In addition, performers will Fox Trot, Two Step, Waltz, Cha Cha, Lindy Hop, Swing and much more.

The SUU Ballroom Dance Company is one of SUU's outstanding performing groups that consists of three performance ensembles with more than 70 student participants. The focus of the group is performing ballroom dances such as the electric American swing, the elegant waltz, the rhythmic samba of Brazil and many more.

The SUU Ballroom Dance Company performs at several annual campus and community events including fall showcase, spring showcase and Dancing with the Stars. Also, the company reaches out to the surrounding community frequently doing performances for local organizations. The energetic group will keep you tapping your feet entertained by wonderful music, beautiful costumes and amazing formation ballroom dancing.

The SUU Ballroom Dance Company has toured throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, and Latin America receiving numerous accolades for their performances. The Ballroom Dance Company has become one of the premier performing groups on the SUU campus and maintains a touring program that reaches cities across the United States and internationally.
