  • Glenside, Pennsylvania Man Found Dead in Grand Canyon National Park

    (Grand Canyon, AZ) - The body found near Yaki Point in Grand Canyon National Park has been identified as that of Peter Reichner, 41 of Glenside, Pennsylvania.

    Mr. Reichner’s body was found on Thursday, January 12, next to the South Kaibab Trail about one-third mile from the trailhead which is located near Yaki Point on the South Rim.

    Reichner died of injuries sustained in a fall.

    An investigation into the incident is ongoing and is being conducted by the National Park Service in cooperation with the Coconino County Medical Examiner.
