(Salt Lake City, UT) - The location for Friday's 3A high school football semifinal game between Cedar City and Desert Hills has officially been moved to Dixie State College by the Utah High Activities Association.

The game was originally scheduled for Rice-Eccles Stadium at 6:30PM, but to cut down on travel time and cost for both schools, it will now be played at Hansen Stadium at 5:00PM.

Thursday's semifinal between Hurricane and Spanish Fork will still be played at Rice-Eccles Stadium at 6:30PM.

Before he got the official word this morning, Desert Hills coach Jake Nelson said he thought it would be best to relocate the game.

"It would be cool to play at the "U" but at the same time if you play the game down south, you'll have twice the fans there and twice the student bodies will be there," he said.
