Hurricane piled up 411 rushing yards on 28 carries from seven different ball carriers. Adam Thompson and Weston Yardley busted loose for runs of 87 and 80 yards respectively and Region 9 rushing leader Brian Scott did not put off visiting the Canyon View end zone, scoring three touchdowns raising his season total to 24 (rushing).
Thompson led the way with 112 yards on a mere four carries, and sophomore Joseph Takau showed some of the future with his seven rushes for 72 yards including a 33-yard touchdown run near the end of the game.
Stetson Deardon rushed for 89 yards on 21 rushes for the Falcons and Koy Huxford passed 9 of 21 times for 97 yards and one touchdown (one interception).
