The local band participating in the success of Sunset on the Square Friday night from 6:00 - 8:00PM is Love Creature with Shawn Owens (drums), Tyson Cazier (bass) and vocal stylings of Karyn Whittemore (acoustic guitar).
KCSG Television General Manager Ed Merrifield said the success of Sunset on the Square, in its fourth year, is community participation.
The Sunset on the Square Friday night movie, August 12th is Megamind. Diabolical genius Megamind finally conquers the hero Metro Man, whom he has been enemies with for a long time. But Megamind finds his life pointless without a hero to fight. Megamind stars Will Ferrell, Jonah Hill and Brad Pitt.
