(St. George, UT) - Dixie Care and Share and Steamroller Copies are hosting the annual “Drive for 5 dollar event”. June 28th from 8 am to 8 pm will begin our Call*A*Thon for the Dixie Care and Share.Participants will meet at the WCF Building located at 1453 So. Dixie Drive. A minimum donation of $5 dollars or more will be requested to help benefit the needs of Dixie Care and Share.

Dixie Care and Share is a passionate organization of souls looking for solutions to the problems that many of us have with life today. As a 501(c)(3) charity, they are tasked with helping thosewho need food for themselves or their families, those who need an occasional shelter over their heads, and those who need a helping hand of another kind. Many people are in this position due

to life coming at them a bit fast or a bit cruelly. They are looking for people to “pay it forward” for that next time you may find yourself without a quarter in your pocket or an umbrella in the rain!

Based in St. George Utah, it is an organization of community, an idea created to help those who need help. The facility creates a way to bring together community resources to operate food banks and emergency shelters in St. George and Hurricane. It also helps those who need education about how to work with others, those who need to be healed, and those who need to learn about a new job or a new path in life.

“With Southern Utah’s current economic condition the Dixie Care and Share can use the help more than ever” says Ruban Garcia, Director of Dixie Care and Share.

Nina Heck of Steamroller Copies/Design To Print and Tony Chambers of Dixie Direct will be the facilitators of this event. Steamroller Copies and Design to Print will be the main Sponsors. Heck has set a personal goal to raise $50,000 for the Dixie Care and Share.

Volunteers will be calling 10 donors each. Donors are asked to make a $5 or more donation. Credit cards will be processed onsite to make donating as easy as possible, cash and checks will also be accepted. “It is so important that we give back to the community, we hope all donors that

will be contacted feel the same way” says Heck of Steamroller Copies/Design To Print.

This fun and exciting event will promote friendly competition and great entertainment. Team prizes will be given for “best” fund raising efforts among other catagories. Companies that wish to participate in donating or sponsoring this event please contact Nina Heck (nina@dtph.com).
