KCSG Television - Virgin Valley Defeats Pahrump Trojans 44 34

(Mesquite, NV) - Senior Humberto Urias led the Virgin Valley Bulldogs (4-1) to a 44-34 win over the Pahrump Trojans (1-3) Friday. Urias had 77-yards on 10 carries including two touchdowns. He connected with Dee Bowler for a 24-yard touchdown pass that helped the Bulldogs to a half-time lead of 36-6.

Virgin Valley's Trevor Thompson had seven carries for 81-yards including two touchdowns. Bowler rushed for 56-yards and caught three passes for 49-yards lifting the Bulldogs to four wins against 4A teams.

Next week the Bulldogs play host to the Boulder City Eagles (1-3) in a league game Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 7:00PM.
