  • DSC Chamber Orchestra to Perform Debut Concert November 3rd

    (St. George, UT) – Dixie State College’s new performing ensemble, the Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Paul Abegg, will make its concert debut on Saturday, Nov. 3rd, at 7:30 p.m., in the Dolores Dore’ Eccles Fine Arts Center Concert Hall on the DSC campus.

    This energetic new group will perform Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, Benjamin Briten’s Simple Symphony, Mozart’s Divertimento K. 138, and Gustav Holst’s Saint Paul Suite. The orchestra will perform without a conductor in a format common in professional chamber orchestras.

    General admission tickets for each concert will be available at the door for $5 for adults and $1 for DSC students and faculty and staff with current ID.
