(Hurricane, UT) - Alice K. Hoffman Rodman, age 85, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012, in Hurricane, Utah. She was born on October 31, 1926, to Bradley L. and Mildred M. Broadsword Hoffman in Akron, Ohio.

Alice was employed by Pacific Telephone in Los Angeles, California, until she married Walter in 1965. She was caregiver to both her mother-in-law and brother-in-law in her home until their deaths. She designed the home that she and Walt lived in Hurricane, Utah.

She is survived by her sister, Helen Harris; niece, Susan Jacob; nephew, Paul Harris of New York; brother-in-law, Fred Rodman of California; many family members on her husband’s side; and her very loving and generous friends and neighbors. She will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bradley and Mildred; her brother, Howard Hoffman and her husband of 48 years, Walter L. Rodman.

The family would like to thank her many caregivers at Southern Utah Homecare and Hospice.

There will be a viewing Wednesday, June 20, 2012, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Spilsbury Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 25 N. 2000 W., Hurricane, UT. Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
