    (ST. GEORGE, Utah) – On August 19th at approximately 3:00 p.m. St. George police officers responded to Mr. D’s gas station at 1946 S River Rd. St. George UT on a reported robbery. An individual entered Mr. D’s dressed all in black and handed the clerk a note demanding money. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money. Witnesses watch as the suspect drove away in a white passenger vehicle and were able to take pictures of the license plate. Witness also followed the vehicle to a residence in St. George. This information was quickly provided to police officers who responded to the residence. Contact was made with a 16 year old juvenile male who was questioned regarding the incident. This juvenile was taken into custody without incident after admitting to the robbery. Officer are still working this case and obtaining information about the specific details of this case. The juvenile will be booked into the Washington County Juvenile Detention Center.
