    (ST. GEORGE, Utah) - With beautiful sunny skies forecast and the United States Navy Blue Angels headlining, Thunder Over Utah Air Show officials expect a large turnout at the St. George Municipal Airport for this weekend's show, which takes place July 25 - 27.

    Those who have purchased premium upgrade passes to the Fighter or Bomber Clubs are reminded that they will need to purchase a General Admission ticket to access the air show and a parking pass to park. Advance discount tickets are available at www.ThunderOverUtah.com.

    Guests are asked to limit their personal carry-in items to only the essentials. The air show’s concessions feature a variety of delicious food and beverages for patrons' enjoyment while on the grounds. In order to ensure that guests are comfortable and will enjoy the show, chairs, blankets, personal handheld umbrellas, are permitted within the general admission seating area. Umbrellas must be a reasonable size; only personal handheld umbrellas will be permitted.

    Temperatures are expected to be near average for this time of year and guests are encouraged to drink plenty of fluids to keep hydrated. The forecast calls for sunny skies all weekend and guests are reminded to bring and apply sunscreen throughout the day to avoid burns. The show will have plenty of beverages available for purchase at concession stands and several free water stations will be available on site. There will also be misting stations on the show grounds for a quick cool down and a tented general admission shade area. Also, in what air show organizers are calling the "Drive-in Air Show" program, guests who have purchased general admission tickets and a parking pass will be allowed to go back and forth from the air show grounds to their vehicle parked in the air show parking lot allowing guests to view the air show from the air conditioned comfort of their vehicle.

    Please note that all carry-in items are subject to search and all unattended bags will be removed from the premises. The following items are not allowed on the show grounds:

    • Coolers

    • Loose ice

    • Cans/glass

    • Alcohol

    • Pets

    • Weapons

    • Tents/awnings

    • Cooking Equipment

    • Bicycles

    • Rollerblades

    • Scooters

    • Skateboards

    • Ladders

    • Large Umbrellas

    • Portable awnings/tents

    • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s)

    Smaller coolers containing life-saving medications or formula for infants will be permitted. Camping or overnight parking is not available.

    In addition to the Blue Angels, the show will feature the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, the TA-4 Skyhawk demonstration, the School Time Jet School Bus, the Red Tail Squadron P-51 Mustang, home-state aerobatic star Brad Wursten, Matt Younkin, a WWII Battle Reenactment featuring dozens of authentic reenactors supported by restored vintage aircraft, tanks, half-tracks and other equipment, and additional performers.

    Advance discount tickets are available at www.ThunderOverUtah.com. General admission for kids 15 and under is free. Sunday, July 27th is Family Day at the show and additional discounts are available on Sunday tickets. Premium seating options that can include catered lunch, tented areas, complimentary beverages, private restrooms and a seat on the flight line are sold out for Saturday's show but there are a limited amount remaining for Sunday.
