  • BLM Accepting Bids for Commercial Pine Nut Collection in Southwestern Utah

    (CEDAR CITY, Utah) - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah Cedar City Field Office is accepting bids for commercial pine nut collection on public lands in Iron, Beaver and Millard Counties. Sealed bids will be accepted until Aug. 8, 2014, at 2 p.m.

    The written, sealed bids must be equal to or greater than the appraisal price of $35 to participate in the commercial collection of more than 25 pounds of pine nuts annually. A $75 security deposit must accompany bids. As in previous years, permits are not required for personal-use gathering of less than 25 pounds.
