    (ST. GEORGE, Utah) - In the early morning hours of July 22 someone used spray paint on various buildings, signs, vehicles throughout the city. The areas that were most affected were the Ft. Pierce Dr. area, 500 West 300 North area, and 1100 West and 500 North area. One of the buildings involved was the LDS church on Ft. Pierce Dr. It is believed that this vandalism in not gang related, but a senseless act of random vandalism. The estimated cost for damages is over $2000.00. Owners of the property are working with the St. George City Parks and Recreations Department on the removal of the paint. There was an older model Red Chevrolet Cavalier occupied by three males seen in the area of one of the vandalism incidents, the occupants of this vehicle may have been involved in the incidents.
