(SALT LAKE CITY, Utah) - The Housing Authority of Salt Lake City, Harley Davidson of Salt Lake City and Golden Spike Harley Davidson will partner to host the 2nd Annual ‘Housing Our Heroes Ride.” Breakfast starts at 7:00am at Harley Davidson of Salt Lake City, 2928 S State St, South Salt Lake, UT 84115. The ride will begin at 8:00am following a scenic route to include: Pineview Reservoir, Trapper’s Loop, and East Canyon. The route will finish at the Valor house, located on the VA Campus in Salt Lake City. Once there, Food, Live Music by local band ‘Outrageous’, and a Silent Auction will begin around 2:00pm.

Valor House, Freedom Landing and Valor Apartments are transitional housing for Homeless Veterans operated by the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City in partnership with the VA Medical Center. Our desire is to raise money for these programs—and help these Veterans travel the path to wellness. Regardless of the reasons for their struggles, or the different issues that these Veterans could be struggling with, they all have one thing in common—they are men and women who served this great Nation with Honor during their military service.

It was inspiring to have the local support during last year’s ride; we are excited to see the same faces this year along with our many new supporters!

This is sure to be a fun-filled event for the whole family. Motorcyclists and Vehicles of all sorts are welcome. All proceeds from the Housing Our Heroes Ride will benefit Housing Programs for Homeless Veterans.

Sponsored by the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City, Harley Davidson of Salt Lake, the Golden Spike Harley Davidson, Symbol Arts, the Marine Corps, and the Starbucks Motorcycle Club.
