Bill was raised in Los Angeles, California where he graduated from Nogales High School. His passion for sports showed as he excelled in football, baseball, and track. Growing up in California, Bill always talked about how he loved going to the ocean and spending his day surfing. While attending college, he decided to enlist in the United States Army, where he was later sent to serve in Vietnam. After four years of service, Bill was shot in 1969 earning him the Purple Heart.
Bill married Gail Lucas and they had four children. They later divorced. Bill later married JoAnne Hamilton who had two daughters of her own, and they went on to have two more daughters, leaving Bill the only man in a house full of women.
Bill loved his job and enjoyed sharing stories of his colleges to his family. Bill had much respect and admiration for his friend and boss, Raul Acosta, who he spent many years working with. Bill was so very proud of all his children, and was always bragging about them. He had a soft spot for all animals, especially cats. When he wasn’t working, Bill enjoyed watching sports, NASCAR being his absolute favorite. Bill was one of the most giving men who asked for nothing as long as his family was happy.
Bill is survived by his beloved mother, Willette Graham, his wife of eighteen years, JoAnne Graham, his son Jeff Graham of Australia, Kathryn and Cole Watson, Tami and Brandon Fife, Alexis and Shawn Millet, Courtney and her fiancé James, Danielle and Jordyn Graham, all of Utah, and his seven darling grandchildren.
Bill is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cullman and Olive Graham, and William and Mattie Norris, his father William L. Graham, and his daughter Jennifer Graham Daugherty.
A small service will be held Friday, June 27, at 11:00 a.m. at Southern Utah Mortuary (190 North 300 West, Cedar City, UT) Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
