    (ST. GEORGE, Utah) - As the June 24th Republican primary election for the Washington County Attorney seat draws near, candidates Brock Belnap and Nathan Caplin have been invited to debate Friday evening, June 20th, 6 p.m. before a moderator and live television studio audience. The moderator will be St George News Editor in Chief Joyce Kuzmanic, and rules of the debate will be announced to candidates and viewers at the beginning of the broadcast. Both candidates are vying for their party’s nomination, and with no democratic contender, the winner of the primary will go on to win the general election by default. Friday’s televised debate will be streamed by Southern Utah LIVE, StgNews.com and KCSG Television. KCSG Television will re-broadcast the debate Saturday June 21st at 8 a.m., 3 p.m., and Sunday June 22nd at 10p.m.

    The debate is a collaborative production of Southern Utah LIVE Television Network, St George News and KCSG Television. The production will air live on Baja Broadband channel 6 and 22, Comcast channel 116, and on KCSG Television 14.1., DIRECTV 44 and DISH 37.
