New School-Based Health Center Opens in Hurricane
(ST. GEORGE, Utah) - Family Healthcare, a community health center and non-profit corporation, will open a school-based health center at the Hurricane Middle School, 395 North 200 West in Hurricane on June 30.

This primary care facility will provide a patient-centered medical home to all residents of the Hurricane Valley area on a year-round basis. It is the second school-based health center in Washington County and exemplifies the powerful partnership between the Washington County School District, Intermountain Healthcare’s Community Care Foundation and Family Healthcare. The partnership provides greatly needed health care to both the insured and uninsured residents of Hurricane and the surrounding area.

The mission of Family Healthcare is: Making lives better in Southwest Utah by providing accessible, quality healthcare, regardless of financial, language or cultural barriers.

“Please join us as we celebrate the completion of this beautiful facility, meet the staff, tour the clinic and enjoy refreshments,” said Nancy Neff, CEO of Family Healthcare. “We hope to see many of those we look forward to serving at our open house.” The open house will be held from 10 a.m. to noon next Wednesday at the center. For more information about this event please call (435) 879-5101.
