He was born on July 16th, 1928 in Buffalo, New York to William and Stella Teodorzak. Bernard later changed his name to Bernard J. Bernard, known to many as BJ.
BJ was drafted into the Army and served in Germany as a Ham Radio Operator during the Korean War. He was highly sought after by many a commanding officer, based on the fact he could speak seven languages including German.
After leaving the military, BJ went to work for Nevada Bell Telephone in Las Vegas, Nevada. While working in Las Vegas, he met and later married Ora LaRee Jensen on December 31st, 1965. They were later sealed in the Provo Temple. Together they had one daughter Eugena (Gena).
BJ transferred to Mountain Bell in Salt Lake City, Utah where the family lived until moving to Genola. After retiring from the phone company in 1992, they moved to St. George, Utah where they had many enjoyable years. In 2013, they moved to Cedar City, Utah to be closer to family.
BJ was a long-standing member of the LDS Church. He served as an Elders Quorum President and served a Members Location Mission in St. George, Utah.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three siblings and a grandson Brett Williams.
BJ is survived by: his wife Ora; Daughter Gena (Bruce) Williams; Grandchildren Tanya (Kameron) Shortt; Waylon (Pam) Ballard; Clay (Sara) Williams; Jeremy (Robyn) Williams; Whiteny (Tennille) Williams and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 am at Southern Utah Mortuary (195 N. 200 W.) Beaver, Utah. A viewing will be held prior from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, Utah under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
