On June 3, 2014 Dixie Camille Davis Lamb went to dance with her life partner once again. Dixie was born on October 27, 1921 to George Anthony and Arbiteen Fotheringham Davis in Minersville, Utah. She was the 2nd oldest of six children.

Dixie was raised in Minersville, Utah and graduated Beaver High School. Soon after graduation she met the love of her life Norman Louis Lamb at a dance in Milford, Utah. They were married on January 10, 1942 and were blessed with four children. Dixie spent her days taking care of her children and then her grandchildren.

She served as a cub scout leader, and she and her husband served as dance directors for the Milford 2nd Ward Mutual for many years. She was a member of the Victory Rebekah Lodge #43 for over 50 years. She spent her time making costumes for all the kids in town that came through their doors for dance lessons. Dixie enjoyed spending time with her grandkids teaching them to dance, sew and crochet. She also enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and spending time in her garden.

Dixie leaves behind two daughters Lola L. Bridge and Camille (Mike) Carter both of Milford, Utah. She also leaves behind one sister Sandra Jesse Kunz of Bowden, North Dakota.

Waiting for her in heaven to swing her around the dance floor once again is her loving husband Norman Louis Lamb. Also waiting to greet her are her 2 brothers George Anthony Jr and Jack Davis; 2 sisters Helen Williams and Carolann Pearson. Her 2 children Vickie Lamb Taylor and Norman D. Lamb. Also there to greet her is her granddaughter Cheyanna Carson Sibley, as well as her parents.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 6-8 pm and again on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary (209 S 100 W) in Milford, Utah.
