Blair is joined on the both All-West squad by pitcher John Conquy and designated hitter Kevin Kline on the second team. On the NCBWA list, outfielder Trey Kamachi and relief pitcher Evan Parker earned Honorable Mention selections.
Blair led Dixie State in five offensive stat categories including home runs with 11 and a .622 slugging percentage. His torrent final month of the year put Blair in contention for Pacific West Conference Player of the Year consideration. He was named to the PacWest First Team earlier on Thursday after leading the league in homers.
Conquy was also named to the PacWest First Team for leading all Dixie State pitchers with eight wins and 54 strikeouts.
Kline was the PacWest's best DH this year. His 54 RBI was a Dixie State best and ranks third all-time for a single season.
Kamachi played solidly all year for DSU in the outfield. He hit .354 with 32 RBI en route to being named PacWest Freshman of the Year.
Parker has had a record setting year in the closers role for the Storm. His 12 saves thus far is a Dixie State single season record by three. Parker has fanned 23 batters in 21.2 innings and only allowed 13 hits.
Cal Poly Pomona outfielder was named West Region Player of the Year on both lists. Pitcher of the Year was split. The NCBWA gave the honor to Trevor Oaks of California Baptist while the Daktronics honor went to Chico State's Nick Baker. The NCBWA tabbed the Wildcats' Dave Taylor as Coach of the Year.
