She was raised in the turmoil of World War II and ended up in West Germany. Ingrid became a singer and sang in the local clubs next to the military base where she fell in love with a young American soldier by the name of Felix M Tenorio. They married on February 12, 1959 and came state side, where they were blessed with a son Felix M Tenorio Jr. Some year’s later her husband Felix passed away. She then remarried on May 24, 1971 to another wonderful man, John M Heggie, who loved and supported her throughout the duration of her life.
Though much of her life was challenging, she always was able to find laughter and peace in those challenges. Later in life, she took up the mantel of caring for the abandoned animals. Much of her joy came from caring and being a steward over God’s creatures. Ingrid ended her days as a strong, loving and resourceful women.
Ingrid is survived by: her Husband, John M Heggie, her son Felix M Tenorio Jr., grandchildren: James Grundy, Ashley Justice, Kaylee Tenorio, Danyelle Tenorio, Megan Tenorio and her great grandchildren Payton and Becham Justice.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Three Peaks Building (40 E Midvalley Rd) in Enoch, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:30-10:30 am also at the Church.
