He married Estella Leavitt December 26, 1943 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dad was raised in Gunlock and on the Bigelow Ranch and never wanted to be further away than it took to get back in time for supper. He was a life-long farmer and rancher. Horses were his second love, Mom being his first. He bred and raised TB and Quarter Horses, some for racing and some for performance. He always raised a large garden and gave most of it away. Dad loved to hunt and spend time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
He attended school in Gunlock, he was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions. He ran heavy equipment for years. His work ranged from catch ponds on the Arizona Strip to road construction in Las Vegas.
