Tourism Week is a whole week dedicated to the importance of tourism and economic impact to Iron County. The Cedar City • Brian Head Tourism Bureau is reaching out to the community at large presenting “Road Tours” to civic groups, city organizations, county officials and even having a Tourist Appreciation Day. As a part of Tourism Week, the Cedar City • Brian Head Tourism Tourism Bureau will be hosting the Cedar City Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon on May 15 at 1 PM (RSVP are a must as space is limited). There will be a special exhibit at the Iron County Visitor Center showing how “Tourism Works” in Iron County, along with the Appreciation Day. Visitors, as well as the general public, are invited to the Appreciation Day, Friday, May 16th from 2-5 at the Iron County Visitor Center (581 North Main Street, Cedar City). There will be free window washing, King Ralph’s Kettle Korn, and a live radio remote from KSUB with prizes and give-a-ways.
