(LEVAN, Utah) - On May 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the zip lines at Yuba State Park will be held.

Two zip lines, 650 feet and 850 feet are open to those at least eight years old and under 275 pounds. During the grand opening, rides are $5, regularly $10. Event admission is free, regular park day-use is $8 per car. Other activities include a DJ, music, zip line raffles and food concessions.

“Yuba State Park is the first in the state parks system to offer an opportunity like this,” commented Yuba State Park Manager Cheston Slater. “We are excited about the zip lines. It was a new and different idea and we hope it adds to our visitors’ recreational experience at the park.”

Yuba State Park is located off I-15 Exit 202. For more information visit yuba.utah.gov or call 435-758-2611.
