Resley recorded four hits during Southern Utah's series at Northern Colorado, three of which were home runs with the fourth going for a double. She posted a .364 batting average in the three-game set, with a 1.273 slugging percentage and a team-high seven RBI.
Resley hit a three-run shot on Friday in a game that saw Northern Colorado use a late rally to claim a 6-5 win. She then followed up with two more bombs for four RBI as SUU posted a season-high 17 runs for a victory over the Bears on Saturday to retake the third seed heading into next week's Big Sky Conference Tournament.
The Salina, Kansas native leads the T-Birds this year with a .389 batting average, .634 slugging percentage, .468 on-base percentage, 10 home runs and 42 RBI. She picked up her first award of the year after homering twice at the Grand Canyon Invitational back in February.
Resley shares the honors with Northern Colorado first baseman Mikayla Duffy. Idaho State’s Jessica Tolmie and Weber State’s MaCauley Flint received recognition as co-Pitchers of the Week.
Southern Utah will count on Resley's bat this weekend as it heads to the Big Sky Conference Tournament. SUU will meet Sacramento State in the first round in a game set for Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at Idaho State's Miller Ranch Stadium.
