In its third year in St. George, the Color Me Rad event is scheduled to begin at the Ridge Top Complex at 317 S Donlee Drive at 9:00 a.m. on May 10. Participants of all ages will be bombarded with approximately 5000 lbs. of colored FDA approved cornstarch as they walk or run along the course. The 3.1 mile untimed event, with a focus on fun will end with runners declaring themselves rad as they toss individual bags of color into the air creating a final colorful display.
“Bring the kids, family, friends, neighbors or co-workers for a memorable Saturday morning,” states Michael Gburski, Executive Director for the local Habitat affiliate.
“There is nothing more rad than knowing all this colorful mayhem is for a good cause,” notes event organizer Scott Crandall, who notes a portion of the proceeds for the St. George race goes to support Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Utah.
