    (ST. GEORGE, Utah) - Washington County School District has named Cheri Stevenson, Education Evaluation Director. She will provide professional learning experiences centered around instructional leadership, on-site coaching and consulting, and sustained mentoring for administration and teachers.

    Cheri Stevenson grew up in Cedar City, Utah and graduated from Southern Utah University with a Biology Education major and dance performance minor. In 1996 she accepted her first teaching assignment as the dance teacher and drill team advisor at Cedar High School.

    In 1998, Cheri her husband Brian and their three boys moved to St. George. That same year Cheri was hired to teach 7th and 8th grade science at Dixie Middle School. In 2002 she transferred to Pine View Middle to teach 8th and 9th grade science.

    After receiving a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Utah University in 2006, Cheri accepted a position as the Assistant Principal and currently serves as Principal at Snow Canyon Middle.
