    April 15 Frontier Homestead State Park Museum – Cedar City

    Children's Story Time: Pre-school children are invited to join us at 10 a.m., to learn about the past through stories and history-related activities. This is a free event. 435-586-9290

    April 17 Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum – Vernal

    Endangered and Endemic Plants: Join Jessie Brunson from the Bureau of Land Management at 7 p.m., for a presentation on plants. Lecture is free to the public and sponsored by the Friends of the Utah Field House. 435-789-3799

    April 18 Antelope Island State Park - Syracuse

    Haunted Ranch: Is the Fielding Garr Ranch Haunted? Wander through the old buildings beginning at 9 p.m., and look for evidence of visitors from beyond the grave. Space is limited. clayshelley@utah.gov or 801-649-5742

    April 18 Snow Canyon State Park - Ivins

    Sunset Hike: Explore the twilight sights and sounds of the canyon during a 1.5-mile, roundtrip hike beginning at 7:45 p.m. Event is free, however space is limited and registration is required. 435-628-2255

    April 19 Antelope Island State Park – Syracuse

    Island Events: Join us at 10 a.m., in the visitor center for a visual exploration of ancient Lake Bonneville presented by volunteer Brian Ferguson. At 3 p.m., meet us in the visitor center to learn about rabbits and hares of Antelope Island, followed by a short hike. Space is limited and park entrance fees apply. 801-721-9569

    April 19 Utah Field House of Natural History State Park Museum - Vernal

    Easter Egg Hunt: Children 12 years of age and younger are invited to the annual Easter egg hunt inside the museum. Event begins at 9 a.m., and is free to the public. 435-789-3799

    April 19 Willard Bay State Park – Willard

    Easter Egg Hunt: Join us for our first annual Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 11 a.m. There will be one hunt for children five and younger and one for children six to 12 years. Bring a can of food for the Utah Food Bank and get in free. 435-734-9494

    April 20 Dead Horse Point State Park - Moab

    Bird Walk: With migration in full swing, the park is filled with bird song. Join us at 7 a.m., for an early morning bird walk. All birds seen or heard will be identified. Participants should bring binoculars (if available), sturdy shoes, drinking water and meet at the visitor center's main entrance. 435-259-2614

    April 20 Fremont Indian State Park and Museum - Sevier

    Sunrise Service: Join the Sevier Valley Southern Baptist Church at 6 a.m., for a non-denominational Easter sunrise service in front of the visitor center. Enjoy a potluck breakfast inside the visitor center after the service. Event is free to the public. 435-527-4631
