(MESQUITE, Nev.) - On Wednesday, March 26th,students at Virgin Valley High School witnessed first-hand the dangers of drinking and driving. “Every 15 Minutes” is a two-day program, which involved Virgin Valley High School students. The program is aimed at encouraging students to think about personal safety, make mature decisions, and recognizing that their actions affect others.

Mesquite Police Chief Troy Tanner said, “I feel it is crucial to get the message out to our youth that drinking and driving ruins lives. The “Every 15 Minutes” program is the greatest drinking and driving educational program available for students. The program was made possible through months of planning, donations, and hard work. I want to thank all those who had a hand in making this program a success and something the youth who experienced it will never forget.”

The Mesquite Police Department will plan and organize the next “Every 15 Minutes” program set for spring 2016.
