  • Come to a Star Party at Pipe Spring on March 1st

    (FREDONIA, Ariz) – Pipe Spring National Monument will kick off its celebration of Arizona Archeology and Heritage Awareness Month with a Star Party on March 1 from 6:30-8:30 pm. Join National Park rangers and the Dixie University Astronomy Club for an evening of story-telling and dark sky viewing. Listen to cultural stories of the Southern Paiute, Greeks and Romans; learn a bit of astronomical science; discover the importance of protecting dark night skies; and enjoy some close up views of stars and planets.

    Dress warm; bring blankets, chairs, and flashlights.
