    (MESQUITE, NV) - Back flips, massive whips, and other big-time freestyle motocross tricks were thrown down last night during the kick-off event for Mesquite Off-Road Weekend. “Cowboy” Kenny Bartram brought his Steel Rodeo to town and they went big for VIPs and special guests on the EnduroCross and FMX track adjacent to the Eureka Casino Resort. Fans also got up close and personal with “Cowboy” Kenny along with other racers during a special meet-and-greet.

    About Mesquite Off-Road Weekend

    Sponsored by the Mesquite Resort Association, Mesquite Off-Road Weekend (Feb. 21-23) features a three-day exhibition of EnduroCross racing from novice to Beyond Pro, fan experiences, PowerSports Plaza, Mud Bogs, a poker tournament, an Adventure Park and feature performances by “Cowboy” Kenny Bartram’s Steel Rodeo. In addition, unguided trail rides are available in the beautiful desert surrounding Mesquite. The Enduro Challenge Races include classes for bikes, ATV, UTV and SxS competitors, and takes place on 100 acres of rugged desert dirt next to the Eureka Casino Resort. A $20,000 purse is on the line, nearly double from 2013. The Mud Bogs will feature a $5,000 purse and several classes for every level. The PowerSports Plaza features expo areas, entertainment, and food and drink, while the new Adventure Park will allow event-goers a chance to test their extreme sport abilities on a variety of exhibits. Other entertainment is available at the Eureka Casino Resort in the Seasons Ultra Lounge.

    Mesquite is easy to get to and located just off Interstate 15. From I-15 North or South, take exit 122 on to Pioneer Blvd. Turn right on Mesa Blvd and park at the Eureka Casino Resort. Special hotel room deals and rates are available for Mesquite Off-Road fans and participants. Mesquite is located 77 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada, 37 miles from St. George, Utah, and 340 miles from Salt Lake City, Utah.
