    (UTAH) - February 7 Snow Canyon State Park - Ivins

    Mercury and Songbirds of Great Salt Lake: Join us at 6 p.m., for a presentation by Dr. Christine Stracey, assistant professor of biology at Westminster College on her research concerning the effects of mercury in songbirds. Entrance fees apply. 801-721-9569

    Utah State Parks is sponsoring a site stewardship training session for Danger Cave State Park on Saturday, February 15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Department of Natural Resources building located at 1594 West North Temple.

    Duties of a site steward include periodically checking on both Danger and Jukebox caves for signs of vandalism, erosion and unauthorized vehicle traffic; picking up trash; and assisting with public tours.
