(ST. GEORGE, Utah) - The Board of Directors of Town & Country Bank has elected Kurt A. Johnson as its Chairman. Mr. Johnson succeeds James A. Bingham, who stepped down because of health reasons, but who remains on the Board.

Mr. Johnson joined Town & Country’s Board in March 2010, and has been serving as Chairman of the bank’s Audit and Compliance Committee, and as a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to joining the Board, he was a member of the Advisory Board of the bank—a group of stakeholders that provide consultative input, fulfillment of special assignments and promotion of the bank’s visibility within the community. Mr. Johnson maintains his own law office in St. George where his practice emphasizes estate planning, probate, asset protection, and business and tax planning. Mr. Johnson also serves on various local boards.

Town & Country Bank had $80.9 million in assets as of December 31, 2013, and is locally owned and operated.

The bank is known for its many differentiators, including its teller-less “concierge banking” model, a free business courier and a propriety ATM/Debit card offering select merchant discounts. Town & Country also holds free in-bank concerts every Friday at noon.
