The Blue Angels are known for their precision formation flying and are a crowd favorite throughout the world. Flying their six distinctive blue and gold F-18 Hornets, the Blue Angels are ambassadors for the United States Navy and Marine Corps. As the headline performers at the inaugural Thunder Over Utah Air Show in 2012, the Blue Angels attracted more than 45,000 attendees and brought in more than $2.5 million of economic impact to Southern Utah.
“We are delighted to be able to bring the world’s most popular air show demonstration team back to the people of Utah,” said Kevin Walsh, Air Show Director for Thunder Over Utah. “We were extremely happy with the outpouring of support from the community for our first-ever show in 2012 and we have been working these past two years on enhancements to make our 2014 show even better.”
The Blue Angels will headline what will be a sensational lineup of the top air show acts on the circuit. In addition to the Blue Angels, top-tier civilian and military performers, classic military aircraft, as well as a full slate of static displays and kid-friendly attractions will be announced soon.
Discounted tickets for the show are on sale now at www.ThunderOverUtah.com. The show will be offering their deepest discount on tickets until February 8th. Because of the family nature of the event, this year the air show will also offer a "Family Day" discount for all Sunday general admission tickets. Corporate participation/sponsor programs are also now available, and additional information is available at www.ThunderOverUtah.com. Fans can also register at the site to receive updates about ticket information, updates on performer additions to the show, and other show information.
Ticket sales from the show will benefit several community organizations. Some of the organizations that benefited from the 2012 show included the Boy Scouts of America, Dixie JROTC, Rotary, and Western Sky Warbirds Museum.
