SUU will enter the meet having finished fourth at the University of Utah last Saturday night, recording a team score of 192.025 that included 11 falls. The majority of the miscues, eight, came from first-time competitors for the Flippin’ Birds in what is being chalked up as jitters in their first collegiate meet.
“Utah is a tough environment to have your first meet,” head coach Scott Bauman said. “It will be good to be back at home this weekend and we expect the girls to come out and hit their routines.”
Fans can follow the meet via live stat and live video links that will be online at www.suutbirds.com. Tickets are available by calling 435-586-7872 or by going online at www.tbirdtickets.com.
