  • Dixie State School of Visual and Performing Arts Presents Free Ensemble Recitals

    (ST. GEORGE, Utah) - The Dixie State University School of Visual and Performing Arts is presenting a series of five free music recitals over the next few weeks to all DSU students, faculty and staff, and the public. All performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. (unless otherwise noted), and will b held in the Dolores Dore’ Eccles Fine Arts Center Concert Hall on the DSU campus.

    The DSU Piano Ensemble will kick off the series with a performance on Tuesday, November 19, followed by a special Brass and Strings Chamber engagement on Thursday, Nov. 21. In addition, the DSU Flute, Sax and Guitar ensembles will perform a joint concert on Monday, Nov. 25, while the DSU String Ensemble will take the stage on Tuesday, Nov. 26, and DSU piano students and faculty will perform a special recital to wrap up the series on Monday, December 2, with two sessions at 6 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.
