    (BUTTE, Mont.) - Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend Linda Leah Spillers, age74, passed away on November 3, 2013 in Butte, Montana. She was born February 13, 1939 in Los Angeles, California to Jack and Elizabeth Waring Bayer.

    On September 5, 1959 she married the love of her life Harold Spillers in Tucson, Arizona. They lived in Tucson before settling in Santa Ana and later Costa Mesa, California. While in California, they were blessed with three children – Janet, Ann and Jay.

    When they moved to Cedar City, Utah in 1992, Linda became a volunteer at Valley View Medical Center. She enjoyed traveling, trying food from different places, swimming, and reading and always had pets with her.

    She is survived by her children- Janet (Tom) Klimas of Menifee, California, Ann (Aldo) Mencato of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jay W. (Linda) Spillers of Anaconda, Montana. Her very special grandchildren Terra Lynn Moyers of Omaha, Nebraska, Christopher Michael and Jonathan David Klimas of Menifee, California, and her brother William (Barbara) Bayer of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

    Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold on May 27, 2010.

    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary, 190 North 300 West Cedar City, Utah. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
