(ST. GEORGE, Utah) - Governor Herbert has declared November 11-18 Pacific Islander Health Week in an effort led by the Utah Pacific Islander Health Coalition to raise awareness and work toward solutions to address the serious health issues that impact Utah's Pacific Islander community. Join the Utah Pacific Islander Health Coalition this Saturday at the St. George Recreation Center from 10am to 1pm. With the large and growing population of Pacific Islanders in southern Utah, organizer Keli Langi hopes that by providing information and fun in one location, Pacific Islanders will become more aware, more active and live longer. “Our goal is to give back to our Pacific Islander community through education, to help families live better.”

The health fair will provide free informational booths about diabetes, gout, and dental, FREE flu shots, free bounce house and face painting for the kids and much more.
