    (ST. GEORGE, Utah) - A constellation of the best-of-the-best in regional talent is coming to St. George! From Broadway to opera, from pop to gospel and country –these renowned professionals will join together for an evening of unprecedented entertainment— all on one stage, under one roof— and all in support of the 2013 Jubilee of Trees’ mission to raise funds to advance trauma care at Dixie Regional Medical Center.

    “Out of this world” defines this night-not–to be-missed with its extraordinary playbill of performers. Admission is free with a Saturday General Admission ticket to the Jubilee.

    Comprising this rare showcase of musical talent—Saturday evening, November 23rd, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Dixie Convention Center—are:

    Heidi Anderson—an accomplished actor and singer who has performed all over the United States, and locally in Tuacahn’s productions of Mary Poppins , Little Mermaid, Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast; and on national tour in The Phantom of the Opera.

    J. Michael Bailey—a Utah native who has performed on stages across the United States and Canada, including in Utah Shakespeare Festival’s production of Les Miserables, Sunday in the Park with George, and Sweeney Todd. Also a successful singer-songwriter, he has a new release due in 2014.

    Gail Bennett-DeJesus—who recently starred in Tuacahn’s Summer Season in Starlight Express and as Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins – a role she has played over 65 times on the First National Tour. Several feature films and television performances round out her impressive resume.

    Eric Dodge and Andy Dodge—Eric is making waves in country music—with his album Why Not Today, an international success –along with six other albums, and 2012 acceptance into the Country Music Association (CMA). Andy Dodge – an accomplished artist and music instructor as well as on-the-road performer with Eric.

    John Houston Gospel Choir – brimming with talent, this group has performed across southern Utah. Director John Houston—formerly a member of Gladys Knight’s Gospel Light Choir—has incorporated Christmas songs into the Gospel Choir’s repertoire of up-tempo and old school gospel singing.

    Mikalene Ipson—who began singing with bands at a young age and has performed all over the western United States, plays guitar and piano, and is a talented songwriter – with her first album of originals titled Pixie Dust is available on Itunes, Amazon, and Mikalene.com.

    Brodie Perry—professional actor, performer, and advanced voice instructor – teaching students and teachers, locally and worldwide. Brodie’s career began with the Utah Festival Opera and Utah State Theater Opera Companies, and he frequently guest solos on many concert stages.

    Lisa Hopkins Seegmiller—2010 GRAMMY Nominee for Best Opera Recording and TONY AWARD Winner for her portrayal of Mimi in Puccini’s La Boheme on Broadway. Locally, she has appeared in Tuacahn’s production of Cats.
