Take advantage of the Mesquite Drug Take Back Day to dispose of unused prescription drugs.
(MESQUITE, Nev) - On Saturday, October 26th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Mesquite Police Department will participate in National Drug Take Back Day by sponsoring Take Back sites in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Agency. The police department will have a drive through lane set up in the west side of the Walmart parking lot where residents can drop off expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs for safe disposal. Liquids, syringes and inhalers will not be accepted.
Prescription drug disposal is available year round 24/7 at the Mesquite Justice Facility located at 500 Hillside Drive, or at the Mesquite Police Department located at 695 Mayan Circle through the use of Drug Take Back boxes provided through a grant by the Clark County Water Reclamation District.
