Andrew was fun loving and enjoyed the solitude of the Lord’s creations. He lived for his wife and two young daughters. Fond memories were made boating on the lake, viewing the night sky and stars, and racing his mountain bike as fast as he could peddle. He was our calm priesthood holder who comforted and cuddled his daughters, Ella and Anna every day.
Andrew and Jen met in October 2000 while attending Southern Utah University. He knew he wanted to marry her by December. Andrew and Jen were married on May 22, 2004. Andrew was the love of her life and perfect eternal companion. We will miss and love you every second of every day until we are reunited beyond the veil for eternal exaltation. Andrew received his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University Nevada Las Vegas in May of 2008.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Jennifer Nicole Nessinger Strand, his two daughters, Ella Grace and Anna Hope Strand, his parents Stephen and Kathleen Strand of Cedar City, UT, his father- and mother-in-law Al and Bev Nessinger of Las Vegas, NV, his grandmothers Margaret Heaton and Belle Strand, his brothers David (Shauna), Scott (Nicole), Tim (Charise), Paul, Jamie (Chrissy) and Matt (Whitney), his sisters-in-law Sheila (Louie) Gutierrez, April (Edwin) Lozoya, and Leah (Logan) Nessinger-Stewart all of Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Max Heaton and Kenneth Strand.
