(NEW HARMONY, Utah) – Apples, miniature horses, vendors and great things to eat were available at this year’s annual New Harmony Apple Festival. The Apple Festival is held each year at the town park. Due to the longevity of the event, the warm weather, and the welcoming atmosphere, there was a great turnout.

For ten plus years now the Apple Festival has seen residents and non residents alike. With a wide range of venders to choose from, attendees can see items like jewelry, blankets and collective swords. Local farmers come to sell their goods of naturally grown apples, homemade apple juice, and caramel covered apples.

Many people were returning patrons that come looking for locally grown apples and some great deals. Austyn Webb, a local resident said that she attends the event because it is fun to see the community coming together. Austyn and her family usually attend as vendors, but was an attendee this year.

St. George residents Bruce and Jeri Edson were attending for their second year. They said about the Apple Festival, “We love it up here, and came looking for Honey Crisp apples. There is such a variety of apples and of other items for sale.”

With an inviting atmosphere, a variety of vendors, and good food, the Apple Festival offers something for everyone. If you are looking for a family activity that’s bushels of fun, and the whole family will enjoy, head to New Harmony for the Apple Festival.

The annual Apple Festival occurs the second weekend of October in New Harmony.
