The program will feature the cello in a variety of settings - in solo literature as well as string chamber ensembles. Composers represented include Bach, Saint-Saëns, Debussy, Sallinen and Donhnányi. Hardy will play some of the most famous and beloved works for cello alongside a few newer and lesser-known pieces. In addition, Hardy will be joined on stage by fellow DSU faculty members Adriana Horne on harp and Robert Matheson on bass, along with Bonnie Romkey and KateLyn Wall on violin, and Linda Ghidossi-Deluca on viola.
