(ST. GEORGE, Utah) - Celeste Di Ann Weber, age 73, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2013 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born on November 18, 1939 in South Gate, California to Leo Grant Blackett and Celeste Iverson Blackett. She married William Joseph Weber on November 25, 1964 in Bell, California, and they were later sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.

Di Ann was challenged with polio at the age of three and was left disabled with crutches and leg braces. Through her life's challenges, she was a mother, homemaker, and wife who rose above the expectations of her conditions. Di Ann was a faithful member of the LDS Church and held many callings throughout her life despite her disability. She served as Primary President, Sunday School Teacher, Visiting Teaching Coordinator and in many other callings. She loved children and spent many years taking care of neighborhood children. Di Ann loved to have visitors, and her door was always open to anyone that wanted to come and talk. Di Ann was an example of perseverance and endurance to all who knew her.

Di Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Bill. She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren.

The family of Di Ann wishes to extend our sincere thanks to friends, church and local leaders, neighbors, family members and children she looked after. We also extend thanks to her doctors, the staff and caregivers at Life Care Center of Bountiful and Affinity Hospice, acquaintances, chaplains and Church leaders at the care center.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sunset LDS 6th Ward Chapel, 750 North 1000 West, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., prior to services, at the Chapel. Interment will follow at the Washington City Cemetery, Washington, UT.
