The Walk Washington County event series is well under way with seven completed walks, and hundreds of walkers in attendance at each event. The eighth walk will take place in Enterprise with Mayor Lee Bracken on Sat., Aug. 24 at 8:30 a.m. beginning at the Enterprise LDS Stake Center, 88 South Center, Enterprise. The route will be close to two miles length along the city streets in Enterprise. Participants should bring water, wear sunscreen and carpool, if possible.
Participants will receive a free, wooden walking stick at their first walk and a medallion representing each city walk in which they participate. Participants who complete all 12 walks will be eligible for a prize drawing to win a full medical fitness evaluation including a personal health coach for one month through the Intermountain LiVe Well Center and other prizes.
